First Soloist, Greek National Opera Strategic Coordinator for Mediterranean Projects & Artistic Relations | Key Figure for INTO DANCE Greece

Born in Albania, Antonis began his training at the Jordan Misja Dance Academy in Tirana, graduating at age 18. Following two years as a soloist with the Albanian State Opera Ballet, he moved to Greece in 1993 and became a permanent member of the Greek National Opera (GNO) Ballet in 1995.

 

His technical expertise is informed by international experience, including studies at the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam and time with the company of the renowned choreographer Maurice Béjart.

 

As a First Soloist with the GNO, Antonis has commanded the stage in leading roles such as Romeo and Juliet, La Bayadère, Don Quixote, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker. His performances have graced prestigious stages in the region, including the Athens Concert Hall and the historic Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

 

Beyond the stage, Antonis serves as a vital bridge for regional dance, acting as the Strategic Coordinator for projects and artistic relations across the Mediterranean and serving as a cornerstone for the INTO DANCE initiative in Greece.
